The more your business grows, the more important your business data becomes. Ensuring you do not lose that key data due to equipment malfunction, system failure, human error, external circumstances and, increasingly common, viruses and malicious code, is vital.

The aim of any backup system should be to retain sufficient information to restore the system with minimum impact to the business.

SANDIY can perform regular backups of your data at a predetermined frequency decided by yourselves. By using specialized software designed for efficient and accurate data retrieval, we ensure all necessary data held on your servers and computers is saved. By utilizing one of the standard backup regimes any losses due to catastrophic data loss can be minimized. Data can be saved onto tape or disk.

The saved data can be kept at your site, however, this is not the most secure process. The most reliable method is offsite storage at a specialized Data Storage Facility. Here your data is collected on a regular predetermined schedule; all tapes are bar-coded for security and traceability and locked into a storage box. The box is then stored for a predetermined time at a purpose built warehouse. If the worst should happen, tapes can be readily retrieved and your lost data restored. This service can be provided by one of SANDIY's partner companies.

Lost Data Recovery

If you do lose data due to software error or hard drive failure SANDIY can normally recover it. By using specialized software or physically scanning the disk there is a high probability that most, if not all, of the lost data can be retrieved. This service is mainly useful for PC' s and laptops. There is a minimum charge of 1500rmb for this service.
